Intelligent ones that don't ***** and complain all the time. Women that have resolute ideals and morals and are responsive to attention and kindness.

Women that call themselves "strong and independent" tend to be braggarts or bitches and not worth the time of day; strength is obvious enough to someone that you don't need to publicize it.

EDIT: "Robinson why is it that men are allowed to brag about their attributes and this makes them leaders yet women are braggarts and bitches? Bit of a double standard there I would think."

When did I say that leaders should brag? I didn't. American culture doesn't really look favorably upon complacency, passivity, or humility in men, I'll give you that, but I figure, as I said above, that strength is obvious enough to someone that you don't need to publicize it, male OR female. If you do, you're really not as strong as you perceive yourself to be. Maybe I'm just full of it, but that's my opinion.

I like strong independant women who are feminine & cute. Women who are dominate when defending themselves from those who foolishly try to take advantage of them, and submissive when being romantic and sexy with me and I to her.

I like balanced women, not overly submissive and weak, or overly dominate and illogically controlling.

EDIT: Vince R - By the way, to say that gender is only and absolutely a construct is to say that some little boys for example, who feel like little girls without being told to act like one, who become transexuals later in life, don't exist. There's been a few articles on some of these boys that proves gender is first genetic, then later culturally learned. Not just a society construct.

EDIT: Vince R - Not that I'm trying to bash you, but your saying a few things that some people will think is true because it sounds easy to believe (because it's something thats "in" to believe in todays society), but it's not completely accurate. For example: your confusing the idea of what a 'submissive woman' is. When you say a woman is submissive if she's driven to be feminine because she's "submissive to society", means that every single person on Earth is submissive because we're all driven to act a certain way for certain reasons. We're all submissive to society in one way or another. Clearly no one is absolutly only submissive or dominate. People act in BOTH ways. A person becomes one of these roles, or they become the other depending on the time and place. Now some people are more submissive or more dominate than others, and that changes depending on who your around. A submissive woman is similar to a submissive man. Usually one with very low self-esteem, lets everyone walk all over them, and control them. One who rarely makes decisions on their own. One who acts like a powerless child to a controlling parent at an adult age. It doesn't matter what gender you are, both have submissive traits.

EDIT: Robinson - Your not full of it. This here what you said, "strength is obvious enough to someone that you don't need to publicize it, male OR female. If you do, you're really not as strong as you perceive yourself to be" is a logical statement.

EDIT: mcentee3 - First, I DON'T agree with everything you said, BUT....you said, "Remember the Nazis completed studies indicating Jews have less intelligence than other groups. Were those studies accurate? No." Thats CLASSIC! EXACTLY!!! Not that everything the two people your talking about are always wrong about what they cite. But some times some people WILL cite info that they figure is true without EVER seeing actual proof or evidence. JUST LIKE when whites in the early 1900's would write so-called scientific data that blacks where dumb animals and whites were intellectually supierior. Those scientific "studies" were considered true then, and cited all the time. Where they true? No! People need to wake the f*ck up & see things with their own two eyes WITHOUT jaded perception to know the facts. Not cite random writings that SEEM credible. Words in books and statistics are NOT the all truth like some fools bllindly believe. Argh...aggravating.

It takes all types to make the world go 'round, and we all have our own unique desires. Personally, I am happy to have a choice in how I relate to the man in my life, and I am grateful to the pioneers of the women's movement for allowing me that luxury. I am a strong, intelligent woman capable of holding my own in just about any environment. But in relationships, I revel in the contrast between masculine and feminine energies. I want to surrender to a powerful man. It feels right and natural to me to be with a dominant man. This may be rooted more in environmental factors, but I suspect that it is at least partly a natural biological tendency. So much history of that contrast as well as evidence in the animal kingdom make me think it is innate. Of course, we are more intelligent and thus capable of choosing differently than our friends of other species. And that's a good thing. Choosing to be submissive to a man of integrity and wisdom is a far cry from being helplessly trapped in an abusive situation. Diversity and choices... I love 'em.

I'm a guy and I think that gender is a social construct so your theory about "leg shaving" is out of gas. You say that you don't like submissive women yet you want feminine women. Women who feel obligated or subconsciously driven to be feminine ARE submissive. They are submissive to society. There is nothing that say that being feminine makes you more of a woman or that being masculine makes you more of a man. The truth is that people accept those (gender) roles because they want to be accepted and attractive to society. You can go to different parts of the world and find many different ideas about what men and women should be. That shows that there is no true position that men or women are born identifying with.

Personally, I prefer strong women. When I say strong I don't mean women who want to have high powered careers or who want to be the leaders of some organization or community. In my opinion strong means someone who is comfortable questioning ideas and who is brave enough to accept or deny different ideas based upon who they are. They are in touch with themselves and don't feel obligated to be feminine (or masculine) just because they think that it is what women are supposed to do. If she wants to have a powerful position in some company or if she feels that she wants to dedicate her time to raising kids then that is fine with me as long as she is doing it because she has decided that she wants to do that not because she feels that a woman should do it. Women who are more focussed on being human-beings instead of being women are most attractive to me.

I like strong WOMEN, not Nazis like Diedre and Baba Yaga, who cite studies that they automatically declare to be conclusive.

Remember the Nazis completed studies indicating Jews have less intelligence than other groups. Were those studies accurate? No, just like the majority of studies cited by Diedre and Baba Yaga are nonsense.

The bottom line is that 95% of the world recognizes inherent biolgoical differences b/w men and women. Does that make one better than the other? ABsolutely not. Any can women do anything men can do--yes. Can women do everything a man can do equally well as men--95% of the time, yes. But, in activities involving physical strength, the top men will always outperform the top women; just look at the Olympics. Has the top women time in any sport ever met or exceeded the top male time? No, because elite male athletes will always outperform elite female athletes.

I think I like a mix. You can be strong and intelligent without being bossy. I want someone who doesn't let other people who totally have their way with her, but at the same time lets me be me. I hate girls who would try to "fix me" or whatnot. But also I'd like a girl who'd treat me as the most amazing, special person in the world, since I would like to treat her in the same way.

I like strong women who are loud and opinionated, they are fun to be around. I dont mind such people as long as they can take it as good as they give it. I however dont appreciate the loud mouthed opinionated types who live in glass houses, they are obnoxious.

I like strong women, considering that I am one myself. What you need Mr Q is to find yourself a good old fashioned feminist. This will fulfil your need to achieve equality with the opposite sex (notice I didn't say gender because everyone knows that is simply a social construct).
edit
That is probably why you are so against feminism. You believe all the deplorable, false stereotypes that portray feminist in a negative manner. I don't know of many who don't shave their legs and underarms, or go without a bra. These are just more misconceptions similar to the ones that you and your cronies spread with total ignorance of what feminism actually is about.

edit mcentee3 is just angry because we caught him in many different lies. Mr. Wannabe.
Robinson why is it that men are allowed to brag about their attributes and this makes them leaders yet women are braggarts and bitches? Bit of a double standard there I would think.

There has to be a balance . . .obviously a strong woman is preferred but not a woman who is overpowering and thinks that her voice is the only one. You know what I mean? A confident woman who knows what she wants and believes and is not afraid to stick to it and fight for it but not a woman who does not consider others and thinks she is the only one who exists.

Strong and intelligent ones that let you be the leader (while, at the same time, you are totally open to her suggestions)|

A normal woman wants a strong man who is a leader, but who totally respects her at the same time and who looks out for her happiness|
