Everybody has a special summer where they met new friends, gained new experiences, found new love, or just lived to their fullest. When you think of those memories you often think of a song that pairs with these emotions whether it be romantic, "kick back and enjoy" type music, soft and gentle, etc... What song made an impact on your life from a past summer and what memory do you often relate it to?

This is a nice, sweet question. My favorite summer song is "Summer Breeze" by the Isley Brothers. I remember that song from childhood and when I hear it, it reminds me of innocence, a much simpler time when I had very few worries, and a feeling that all was right with the world.

Wow, this is an awesome question, Kudos! Uhm, one song that really stands out in my mind is Afi's 37mm...I went to their concert last summer with the 8 or 10 most important people in my life, at the time. I now only talk to about one or two of those people now and it just reminds me of all the beautiful people i used to know...and all the times we had together. This summer there will hopefully be a new group of important people, new experiences, and of coarse...a new anthem to get me through it :]

"Over My Head" by The Fray reminds me of camp because it's a song that my cabin used to dance to... I heard it on the radio yesterday and I got so emotional because I miss my best friends from camp so much.
Also, "Barbie Girl," by Aqua reminds me of how we all used to tease a girl in our cabin about being so materialistic.
"Beautiful Day," by U2 just reminds me of summer - don't know why!

It reminds me of someone whom I spent a lot of time with from summer through to winter, then she moved just before Christmas and I have not seen her again since.
People move on and It hurts to let go, but I still have my memories.
