On my acoustic guitar, the strings are too far from the fretboard, and my chords don't come out right. It's also really hard to push them all the way down, what can I do?

Go to a reliable guitar shop near you and tell them too lower the action. They'll know exactly what you want and they'll lower it. Ask them to consult you when they lower it so you can make sure they don't put it down too low. I have yet to do that with my Taylor 110E but that's what I'm going to do. If you're in New Jersey, I recommend Lou Rose.

I have a PRS Billy Martin SE and I can raise and lower it at whim. A lot of guitars are like that. but yeah you should probably go to a guitar store and ask a pro if you don't know what you're doing. Ask them to show you while they do it so you know for next time!

Check out the music I do on my PRS I do all of it myself.
