Wow...Melo Fanatic....Eddie George had two seasons where he averaged 4.1 yards a carry and another season where he averaged 3.9.

I see him actually getting into the Hall Of Fame. His name is recognizable and he never had any off field problems or even on field problems. He was a true class act that established over 10,000 rushing yards and pulled off a career 3.6 yards a carry. He did represent the Titans in the classic Super Bowl against the Rams. I don't see a reason why he won't eventually get into the HOF.

They allow anyone who buys a ticket entrance.:)

Oh, wait that isn't what you mean, is it.

I never heard teams fearing the Titans because of Eddie George. Then again he is at one of the glamor positions. (QBs, RBs, and WRs are way more likely than any other position. Checkout Nose Tackles in the HOF.)

He'll make it. Now ask me if he should.

No, although he did have some successful seasons, he did not excel or have the consistancy to become a hall of fame running back.

You're reaching. He'll get in with Robert Smith, by buying a ticket.

No, he only had 4 good seasons, while not winning any Super Bowls.

2007-03-17 10:24:48 · answer #8 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

no because he didn't play long enough, and he never averaged 4 yards per carry in a season.
