if you haven't heard Carol Burnett is suing family guy because they made her a janitor cleaning a floor in a adult store. And shes suing the show!!?!?!?! do you think that she's just doing it to make her famous again (cause I never really knew who she was before the show,lol) or do you think that she's trying to make a end to our favorite shows such as american dad, family guy and south park?

This is what happens when you only give part of the facts.
This started when Family Guy wanted to use some of her trademark music in an episode, and she said that under contract, that music could only be used on by her on CBS network.
So, they got upset and depicted her as one of her charaters in a belittling sitution, and then made several insulting comments about her and some of her traits.
They went out of their way to insult her and showed a remarkable amount of bad taste to get even with her for not allowing then to use thier music.
I hope she does win.

Family Guy. I think Carol Burnett it probably just running out of money. She is dumb. Her show "The Carol Burnett Show" was about pop culture parodies, and well, so is "Family Guy". If Carol is trying to get publicity from it, she is only going to get if from the old folks at the retirement home because A LOT of people from this generation watch Family Guy. And to this generation, it is Carol Who? And dont worry, if she actually does win the lawsuit (which I doubt she will) Family Guy won't go off the air.

I hope she wins. She created that character and used it for many years before they up and used it as an image in a porno store. They probably did it without asking too. I hope she wins and that Family Guy gets sooooooooooo canceled. And btw, first amendment protects freedom of speech. I doesn't give you the right to violate copyright laws. That show has gone way downhill and it didn't start of on much of a high note anyways.

noooo she's gone thru great lengths to keep her franchise as reputable as any other. you have to realize (not sure if you are old enough to remember) but her show was REAL comedy. family guy isn't like the simpsons, where celebrities like to make "cameos" because of its humur and it's satire. i dont like the simpsons but i can see the appeal. family guy is just smut, and she has a right not to have her logo and trademark besmirched by it. no matter what your views are she has a legal right. period.
