What should I clean my DS with? I use a soft cloth right now but only for the outside. Is there a liquid I can use that is safe and won't damage it?

Use a microfiber cloth(the cloths to clean glasses) and you should get a screen protetor, some of them have mircrofiber clothes in them. And you can just get some toilet paper or tissues, slightly dip in in water and clean it. Scrub hard, but not to hard and what ever you can't remove is a scratch.

No, no. Using water or another liquid could damage both the touch screen and the DS when you turn it on. If you really want to though, wash it, and let it cool off by itself for about 24 hours. Don't play it until then.

They sell cleaning cloths may specifically for the DS. I'm not sure if it is the same fabric that you use to clean eye glasses.
Check with an electronic store or ebay.

I just breath on it and wipe with a cotton ball. It works great.
