with regards to this being the 5th year anniversary of the war on iraq, I've heard that this weekend there are a ton of protests happening in the world to get this war to stop. If you found out that your town/city were holding a riot/protest, would you be down there?

no...the protesters in my area look like a bunch of retards, I do not want to be associated with them.
I support our troops and what they are fighting for. A lot of people make accusations on the war in Iraq because they do not know what is going on over there. We make our snap judgements from watching the media. I have had the media follow my family many times before and they got absolutely nothing right, everything was wrong....So I am not going to believe anything I hear on the radio or on the news.
If any of you protesters want to know what is truly going on, I'd suggest you buy a ticket to Iraq and take a looksies.
ALSO: a big THANK YOU to "yahoo rocks" for serving our country!

No I will not. I don't know if I agree with this war, but I will not protest something when we have troops fighting and dieing every day. What they need is support & I can't see participating in a protest as a way to support them.

we're having a vigil at cole park here in town. to remember the INVASION of iraq, because that's what it was, is and will be remembered in history. tommorrow is a day of remembrence but every day after that will be a protest!!
