as little physical exertion as possible, I look at american parking lots as the perfect metaphor... Just watch the lazy bastards circle over and over looking for the closest spot, and then when they get home they complain about how expensive gas is for their gas guzzling suv or pickup truck...

The American Dream implies a a successful and satisfying life. There are numerous American Dreams, depending upon the person's personality and morals. If you are counting the blessings and friends in your life, I have achieved it.

Succeeding in your own goals.
For most Americans, it is to get a good job, start a family, and live a happy life.
I don't set specific goals for myself, because after you accomplish them, life doesn't seem as fun. I just go with it.

I think its different w/ everyone. Health and happiness is a good start. Having enough money to live comfortably without struggle. Yea I'm pretty much there. A little ways to go still however.
