Are you having complications that are making you so scared? If not... don't worry so much. You'll be perfectly fine. The books written on pregnancy are just minor guidelines to what typical women go thru.. not everyone is the same. Some like yourself may have symptoms that last longer than others. Nothing to stress yourself over. If you are very concerned about anything in particular, I would recommend asking your Dr. They will be the best bet for any comforting answers you may have.
Rest up and congrats on your impending delivery!

No, the feelings won't really subside for awhile. While it's normal to have it disappear, it's also normal, especially if the pregnancy isn't exactly desired, to have the same fears.
Just relax. Labor is going to be painful. Prepare yourself for that. Go to some birthing classes and talk to other mothers. Ask the questions, even the stupid ones.
The best part is that nothing that bad is going to last forever. It will last no more than 48 hours and in the end you're going have a new baby.
Also, complications are out of your hand. You need to relax, if not for you then for the baby!

Pregnancy whether planned or not is a scary thing especially the first time around. Its not only the fear of going through the labor but its the fear of the unknown for you. No matter what anyone tells you about labor and how painful it is, or how easy it was doesn't matter. What matters is that each woman handles labor different and you can't expect anything! If your really terrified of the labor pains I would ask your doctor or midwife for an epideral to block the pain. Good luck on your pregnancy!!!

First off Congrats! !!! Babys are wonderful. I am expecting my second in July. I have read that book too but it cant speak for everyone. With my fist I was scared and that lasted all the way until I was ready to have him. Everyone has these feelings it's perfectly normal. It's a huge experience and you have every right to feel scared, and anxious. Although right now the idea of birth may seem scary but once you have that little miracle in your hands the birth is the last thing on your mind.

You will get through it. Millions of women everywhere have survived childbirth and most gone on to have another child. If it was unbearable, I think most of us would have learned our lessons the first time. Yeah, it sucks. Yeah, it hurts(at least until you can get to the epidural). But it doesn't last forever and you get a baby out of the deal. It's scary and you don't know what to expect and that makes it worse. However, it's too late to turn back now honey. Just know that it's not that bad. I do suggest the epiduaral though. Thank God for whoever invented that.

Theres such fairly some issues that ought to ward off a vaginal start. it will be the region of the newborn, the length and if the newborn's wire is wraped round her neck. Its hard to assert if she will be in a position to be waiting to grant a organic start or no longer. My mom had an 8 pound 14 oz..infant which she replaced into waiting to grant vaginal start to. My brother and that i are 17 years aside so she had to fairly some time to heal up down there so it replaced into like doing all of it yet all over again for the first time. She is 5' 3". So i'm particular your spouse will be effective.

I'll be honest with you. Labor sucks! It's painful and can be very long (mine lasted about 30 hours). Just remember there are drugs that can help you (epidurals can be your friend). It will end and you will get the most important, precious gift out of it.
You'll eventually forget about how bad it was and probably want another. :)
I'm going to go through it again in about 6 months. I'm scared, but I know how worth it in the end it will be.

congratulations! honey you will be scared for quite sometime because you already love the baby and don't want any thing to go wrong. you will probably be just fine and the first time you really think you are not ok let the doctors and nurses know. they are there to help you and the little one. if you think you are scared now wait until he/she gets sick for the first time or doesn't call home on time or learns to drive. this part of parenting will seem like a walk in the park.

I was scared out of my mind during my whole pregnancy. I think it's normal, especially if it is your first one. Just not think about it is easier said than done. Don't be afraid to get a second opinion if you are nervous about something the doctor tells you. My dr. told me my son was going to be born underweight and have moderate brain damage at the beginning of my ninth month. When he was born, he weighed 7 lbs. 4 oz, 19 inches long and his APGAR was 8 of 10. Wish I would have followed my own advice. :)
Complications due arise, but are very rare. If you take care of yourself, you will be fine!!
Congrats!
