Camels don't store water in their humps, they store fat.

The bactrian (two humped) camel can store 36kg of fat in each hump, totaling at about 72 kg.

I'm not sure how much fat a dromedary (one humped) camel can store in its single hump, but it would probably have trouble beating 72 kg.

No, as the humps store fat. The water is in the blood. Humps are converted to water and nutrients, though, so perhaps you may be on to something.

Camels dont store water in there humps.
They get water from the shrubs and other vegitation they find.
