Seriously. There isn't anything entertaining on television. The internet is only going to last so long.

I have a short attention span, so anything that's more like a bunch of little things to do would be a lot better than one big suggestion. I'm certainly not going to be sitting down to write the great American novel or anything like that.

save me.

How about reading the great American novel? That can be all involving and make a lazy day pass quite pleasantly.

Recommendations would be:
Ender's Game, by Orson Scott Card. Sci-Fi with the best story I think I have ever read.

The Earth is the Lord's, by Taylor Caldwell. Historical fiction about Gengis Khan.

Occasionally I will spend many contented hours reading through the encyclopedia! Great pictures, interesting and informative, not too long or too involving, I can jump from one important thing to another entertaining thing to something that I can't classify but find worth knowing a bit about.

I hope it doesn't sound simple, but when I get bored I do jigsaw puzzles, crosswords, word-find, those you can do for as short/long a time as you want. Also, you could pick a subject that you want to delve into @ the computer and use a notebook to record what you are finding out each session. Could be like a self-taught college course only designed just for your interests. I am studying local birds -appearance, migration habits, mating and what types of nests they build. You can find an interest, I'm sure. You can contact me at: Datstuff47@yahoo.com. Get busy!

You can try actually sleeping...

But that's no fun.

Why don't you try reading books or learning new facts from the encyclopedia.

Ok, that's boring too.

Get a friend to go to walmart, and buy the sims 2 for you. It's addicting. So is this other fun game called chuzzle. You can also get a little bell and annoy your family by ringing it when you "need" something. The annoyed look on there attempting to be sincer face is priceless.
