Yes I am a bit unnerved by clowns. I am quite sure most of us are aware "it is just a movie". For many it is the idea of not knowing, the unknown, a person going all out to disguise themselves. What are they hiding, what do they not want others to see, what are they planning to do. That combined with jumping around, getting in your personal space, and handing you things all at the same time can "overload" someones thought process. Yes I know most are wonderful people who just want to make people smile, but "knowing" something and "feeling" something can be completely different. I should add it is only the clowns that have their entire faces covered that bother me, if I can see skin I am not bothered at all.

clowns do freak me out; the exaggerated movements, unpredictable actions, overdone features. Kind of nightmarish. I hired a clown for my daughter's birthday when she was around 4 or 5. None of the kids got into it and the adults were just as wary.

I am clown, and I don't understand what the big deal is....The only reason that people can give me is "I saw that movie where the clown goes around and kills everyone."
Come On People! It's a MOVIE (you know, NOT real life)

I'm not afraid of clowns but i know people who are....I'm not sure my biggest fear really is...i fear death and stuff for people around me....but I'm not paranoid about it....i guess my biggest fear is being left behind...
