Clarkie is right. How old are you? Not trying to be mean, but it plays into what you should do. Do you want stage, TV or screen? My daughter attends an acting camp in California and justabout every year, one of her fellow campers ends up getting picked up for a TV show on Nick, CW or Disney. Please, whatever you do, do NOT go to Hollyweird hoping to get "discovered." The only ones who'll discover you there are pimps. You'll end up on the street turning tricks or worse, they'll talk you into doing cheap porn.
Study acting, dancing, learn an instrument and get voice lessons. Read lots of books -- Of Mice and Men, The Old Man and The Sea, Death of a Salesman. Read, read, read. Audition at your local little theater, read for every part that comes up. If you're in high school, audition for every school play. If you're out of school, get into your local community college. Study acting, learn about things like the Mac Murray Method. And *sigh*, be prepared to hear "No" an awful lot. Break a leg!

go to acting school, learn techniques. Take challenging roles
Do community theater, local professional theater, get a union membership.
Get an agent, get a portfolio and pictures
Audition everywhere
Good luck - I was talented and handsome too. I got nowhere (whereas my school mate Henry Winkler did!)
