Ok, I have a feeling that the solution I am looking for is going to be something so simple that it's gonna make me mad when I figure it out........Anyway, how do you connect a game console to your surround sound system??.....Here's my problem......I have my surround sound connect to my tv and dvd player....but when i hook my ps2 to my tv, i still get surround sound, but I hear the sounds from the last tv channel I was watching (when I play my ps2, i have to change the tv to a different channel, if that makes sense)....and i hear the audio from the channel that my cable box is tuned in to.....many thanks in advance to anyone that can help me

you have to kinda "split" the audio cables away from your PS2 and just install those into your home theater and not into your tv. that way they are on a different output from the tv. if you have them both at the same time you will get that both tv channels. are you using the video channel on your tv? if not that maybe another reason why
