Some places will give you a certain amount of time to catch up on the rent before they sell the contents of the storage unit.. Take a look at the contract you signed with the storage company. It should tell you.

You might also try talking to the management and see if they will give you some time. They might, or might not have some leeway with that. It never hurts to ask nicely. If your contract doesn't say and the management isn't helpful, you might contact legal aid and ask what the laws/rules are in your area. Good luck.
