Try Annie's Attic and/or Mary Maxim. They do have websites, but I don't know the address. Google can find it for you quite easily, though. (www.google.com -- I know that address at least) Both of these are American companies selling handcrafts supplies and kits for most of the textile crafts (cross stitch, crewel, rug hooking, knit & crochet, etc) and even a few other things, too, now. I get their catalogs and have seen the cross stitch tablecloths in there.

Z3 is absolutely right, that is how to do the thread and the pattern. Separating the threads into colors, then into usable strands[follow your quilts direction, it might be 2 or 3 strands, that is the usual] saves time and effort later. and makes the project go faster. the less you have to set down your loop and play with thread, the faster it goes. Rivers gets a big pin cushion, and threads several needles and knots them, just grab a new needle and thread and put the used one in the cushion,so as not to stop every time I reach the end of the thread. Less tedious that way. For complicated designs, I thread all the colors I will need for a loop sized section. The pattern is kinda like a map, you put it where you can easily see it from where you are sitting. Most instructions for x stitch quilts are repetitive, once you learn the design, you are in business. You just find the row you need to work on, count for instance the red xs and do them, then the green ones. Be sure to use your embroidery hoop, be sure and keep the material taut in it, or your xs will be marching all over the place across your quilt. My Grandma did one of these for every child and grandchild in the family, plus a few for charity and herself. Only once did she complain, and it was a quilt for me, I hired her to do one. It was iris flowers, and there were several patterns for the irises. She figured out which one got what pattern by the shape of them. the straight ones were all one way, the crooked left ones got a pattern, like that. do each quilt square individually. When they are all done, you sew them together to make the quilt top. then you buy dacron quilt batting, and some fabric for the backing. You sew the backing pieces together, put the batting in between the quilt top and the backing sheet of fabric, then quilt it[the pattern is probably on your quilt blocks]. then you make a binding for the quilt for around the edge to hold it all together. The quilting stitches go all the way through the batting and the bottom of the quilt. They are usually in a decorative pattern, usually simple, sometimes fancy. You just use thread and a running stitch for those. Don't panic! It sounds like a lot, but it goes really fast when you get to know what you are doing, really. Rivers can embroider and watch TV and think about things all at the same time, you will too. and do not get wound up about putting the quilt together, there are tutorials and instructions all over the web for free. And finally, you might want to check to see if your thread is color fast. Separate the colors, dip them in cool water, and if they bleed, oh, oh. If they do not bleed, just put them in a towel, blot them, and leave them to dry. They are supposed to be colorfast, read your kit, but there is always a manufacturer out there that does not care. Good luck, just keep your eye on the prize, and that is an heirllom quilt. If you are making it for family , your grandkids will talk about you, just like I did my grandma above.

Mary Maxim has many styles and patterns for different table sizes. They also have matching napkin and table runners. You can purchase from them at their store, online, or over the phone.
