the key to beauty is confidence. the more confident you are the more beautiful you will be to others.

Beauty is not necessarily a perfection as perfection is not ubiquitous. Beauty is rather a good balance of positive and negative traits. That's when we are talking about beauty of a person. I personally don't restrict beauty only in its physical sense. Physical beauty of a person can certainly trigger lust and initial attraction but without depth, that lust and attraction gradually fades away. I think that's not a true perception of beauty. Real beauty is something that your heart thinks is beautiful. Real beauty is something when you take lust out of the equation, you still find it's beautiful.
But if we are talking of beauty of "things" such as houses, cars, etc or nature, then geometric perfection and environmental purity, etc are considered.

Being truly yourself is a good thing. If you are kind and compassionate to others, that is your better self. Loving others as well as you love yourself, when they deserve it, is your beautiful self. Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder.

Doing good needs and not expecting anything in return, putting other's needs above your own, never judging, developing understanding, and not basing people on what they are from the outside. That is true beauty to me: Selfless and undaunting

I agree with you & would add to love yourself. When you love yourself unconditionally, you are able to love others as well. Your soul will be such a beautiful light that your inner beauty will give you outer beauty.

it depends, if your talking about physical beauty then, its just that physical, the way you look, if your pleasing to the eye, if your features fit, inner beauty is different, its your personality, your confidence etc., and to be truly your self is the greatest beauty there is.

We all know what beauty is.
It is like truth, an ideal, every individual having their own conceptualization and application of it; it can mean one thing one minute - and quite another the next.
Hence "eye of the beholder".
