Ok my 360 was working fine, then games began to freeze pretty frequently, but now it wont even turn on around the start button on the system it doesnt turn green like usual but red, and only player 1,3,4 turn red. What does that mean and how can i fix it??

It's called general hardware failure. Usually it will result in having to call 1-800-4MY- Xbox. You will end up speaking to an Indian guy who you can barely understand but eventually end up being able to comprehend that he wants you to send it back for a repair. Usually this takes 8-12 days with exceptions of 27 days like what happened to me.
Then getting it back and hoping it works. It happened to me 4 times. Finally it actually works.

That is the red ring of death. Microsoft recently extended all warranties for 1year due to this. Call 1-800-4MYXBOX and they will give you instructions on how to send it to them and they will either replace or repair it. Good luck

You need to buy a fan.
OR
steps.
1.if its in a very tight space or enclosed it over heats.
2. it needs to have an openarea around it.
The lights are becouse your video cables are loose or the slide between hd and tv setting is in between the 2 settings.
