Seems like the MVP award this year should lose some more credibility and go to someone like Mark Madsen or Malik Allen. Whats the sense in giving it to someone that pretends to be injured for the all star game? Players have done this before and they were fined for it but not Nash.

HELL NO. and no Bryant shouldnt have been MVP last year. Nash took a team that was predicted to miss the playoffs cuz of Amare gone and Kurt and They finished like 2 or 3 seed. The lakers have had injuries this year and the lakers are bearly a .500 team and might miss the playoffs. who cares if he had better stats hes selfish and Nash makes everyone better. Kobe doesnt. if Nash took as many shoots as him he would score 25-30 pts a game too but he would rather pass. o and Nash didnt fake an injure he was hurt.

i'm a super Mavs fan and grow to be so dissatisfied whilst they permit him pass. They stated that he grow to be worn down and did no longer have plenty left interior the tank. Boy have been they incorrect. He has performed no longer something yet carry Phoenix on his shoulders and win an MVP which he deserved. i could take Nash over Kidd any day. I omit S. NASH. That grow to be the worst determination Cuban has made in his occupation. So no hes no longer the worst participant to ever win that award. i think of it grow to be Charles Barkley.

Where did Nash's leadership go against the Pistons last night?!? They lost by 22, Billups was out for the second half...Suns couldn't make anything... Its Marion and Amare doing all the work and Nash taking the MVPs...its ridiculous...
AND SINCE WHEN DO ASSISTS EVEN MATTER?? ITS NOT HOW MANY TIMES A PLAYER PASSES THE BALL FOR GODS SAKE...its pass and make ...MAKE!!!! learn the game before you call someone the best player...this is why Kobe is called a ballhog...im sorry his teammates can't make a shot!!!!!
HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA to steph...nash only got 20+ assists twice...you make it sound as if he gets it every GAME...LOL...

Yes, he is the worst MVP ever. Basketball-Reference lists his Hall of Fame chances--based purely on his stats and team's success--as less than 10%. He is still a very good basketball player who's had a great last 2 years... but everyone else who ever won an MVP is just soooooo good they dwarf Nash by comparison.

P.S. Don't forget his glaring defensive deficiencies, which John Stockton didn't have

Are you serious????? When was the last time you got 20 plus assists in a pick-up game, let alone an NBA game??? Steve Nash is not the BEST MVP ever but he is surely not the worst. I think the most overrated MVP selection would have been Karl Malone. Not stud numbers, good numbers and a great point gaurd made him MVP if the standard was still the same today the top two players in MVP voting would be Amare or Shawn Marion. VIVA CANADA!!

Steve makes the players around him better, but come playoff time, the Suns have nothing to show for it.

If he wins a 3rd, it will be a shame.

I say Dirk for MVP this year, best player on the best team this year.

si, amigo. Last year Everyone but Suns fans, wanted Kobe to win and he deserved it. He had like 13 more points than Nash a game. Just 7 assists, and had 4 more rebounds. Kobe had .8 more steals. Oh and 1.2 more blocks. LOL. And Kobe helped his team go to the playoffs, edging out the 8th seed. Kobe seemed much more valuable in the playoffs against Nash also. Nash had Marion, Barbosa, and others.
