The first day of my last period was February 26, 2007, my boobs started getting sore a week or so before it started and they are still sore today. I have been trying to get pregnant, but since they were sore and then I had a normal period that wouldn't make sense, right? I do have endometriosis and I have recently started getting a bit of hair on my chin. I know my mom has always had some hair on her face since she was in her 20's but she also went through menopause in her early 30's. I am concerned that something is wrong, but I don't want to go to the doctors and seem like a hypochondriac. Has anyone else had this happen or know why it may be happening?

No doctor would treat you as a hypochondriac if you spelled out the whole story.

Sore boobs -- hormonal, very common. Not significant on its own, but can be when taken along with other symptoms.

Endometriosis -- serious -- you should be monitored constantly by the doctor on this one.

Facial hair -- if your mother has beard growth, you stand a high chance of beard growth too. On its own, insignificant -- millions of women shave every day. Combined with the fact that she had an early menopause suggests that her hormone balance was heavily testosterone dominated and you quite possibly have a hormone balance which is similar..

PCOS is one of the obvious possibilities. Be sure and spell out all your concerns to the doctor -- but put them as bullet points on paper as the doctor won't have time to listen to a rambling story.

Sounds like you may have a hormone imbalance going on. Pls see your dr to have this evaluated. If the dr should treat you as if you are a hypochondriac pls don't give up on trying to find out what's wrong and get another opinion, preferably from someone that is not in the same office of the dr that you currently see.
