At the end of the day you've got to think of the child coz when he starts school he doesn't want the piss taken out of him. I like Finn but the Oscar has got to go. But then have you heard the name said " Finn Lane". It doesn't sound right. So it's your choice.

I love the name Finn (was my Dad's name and it's on my shortlist too) Oscar is ok too.
Remember though that in reality, the baby's middle name will hardly ever get used and it only really gets said while your baby is very young. I spent a long time choosing middle names for my daughter but hardly anyone actually knows her by her full name.
I assume Lane is your surname which is also nice.

there was a baby in the groupo i used to go to called finn, and it suited him brilliant. but as long as oscar stays a middle name and isn't part of a double barreled first name it is lovely. i hate this recent obssesion with giving babies two first names. it flipping pointless, and usually the names don't go well together. what happened to just a fore name a middle name and a surname....
finn lane sounds very nice. and oscar is nice for a middle name, if your naming him after a grandparent, lovely.

That's nice... I take it Finn as the first name and oscar as middle name?
Love Finn ( I like Finlay and would shorten that to Finn)
