I would like to start filming a 30 minute television show. Starting within a specific region and then expanding. It will coordinate with my retail business. I have a basic idea that i would have to pay 100% and develop sponsors to pay for the show, but I would like to film it as inexpensively as possible, and then find an outlet to air the show on a regular time. Any suggestions? I would like to focus on the Southern California area, specifically Inland Empire and Palm Springs. Also, average fee's that would be charge by a local station to air a 30 minute show.

Try making available online for free first. If no one knows who you are they wont want to pay you.

If you were actually ready to go big-time you would know more about these sorts of things.

Don't go the regular route. IPTV will soon be commonplace by the time you are out of school. Many a celebrity is going to be made by just advertising themselves and doing an IPTV show without the need of any television network to get to their audience.
