This actually happened in my home state a couple of years ago. The performer was so good, she claims that she applauded hard and her hands hurt for a week. What do you think of this?

I think that someone who has that much free time on her hands is really sad. That is ridiculous and a waste of time for our already overworked judicial system. Stupid people abuse the system.....

The choice to applaud was solely the individual audience member's. The performer has no responsibility,

therefore no liability

therefore no basis for a suit.

Sorry. The Feres Doctrine prohibits him from suing the government. it is no longer suitable if he replaced into off-accountability on the time. it quite is using the fact he replaced into serving for the time of a era of national emergency first proclaimed by President Truman in 1950. it quite is why your pal have been given the national protection Medal. He has to apply the protection stress and/or VA incapacity device as a replace.

Oh ouch!. That's ridiculous though...it is usually accepted that the plaintiff has direct control over her own hand/arm movements, not the performer(defendant). So how could she prove the performer was in any way culpable? Right?

That's absurd. The performer didn't make her clap, that was her own doing. See that's what's wrong with society today, we have forgotten about being responsible for our own actions. She's looney. Oh just for kicks, did she win the case? LOL!!!

I would call this contempt of court, for tying up the legal system for something so frivolous!

I find that to be very ridiculous. It's a shame what people will try to do to get money.
