As an individual, when faced with any problem, you will think everything through to a conclusion in which you can have a good conscience with. If you're right; you're rewarded. If you're wrong. You must accept full blame for your decision.

As a group, when faced with any problem, you are not alone in the thinking process so you don't have to think it through as well because you won't bear the whole resposibility of the outcome. If the group is right; then you are rewarded along with that group. If the group is wrong; then each single person in the group can pass the blame on to the next person and not take any responsibility for the outcome of the group's decision. You don't even have to be part of the thinking process within a group. You can just go along with the decision made because the outcome will probally be the same with or without you having taken part in the thinking process. People are afraid to appear smart in front of their peers so they'll play dumb. But, with so many playing dumb the group really becomes dumb or stupid, I should say. I need some pizza ;-)

The quote draws a parralel between the individual's rational thought process vs the potential mob mentality of the masses.

in case you look at maximum hymns, many are written in a phoneticized version of the English spoken in the course of the era. that's fantastic to do not ignore that the major issue you look nitpicking about Hillary is only her accent.
