Seeing you started with "Given a choice" well I wouldn't choose either one of them. If that is your only alternatives then you are going something terribly wrong.

Easy choice: The bothersome, annoying person. This type of personality can be changed. Many times this kind of person doesn't even know they are being annoying. Just bring some of the things to the person's attention and they may change.

With the aloof, inconsiderate person this is a trait. This type of person is fine with their behavior. They have no intention of changing and won't. They will always be inconsiderate and never even understand your feelings. Forget this option. You will spend the rest of your life being miserable.

An annoying person, at least theres hope for improvement, an aloof person sees no wrong in what there doing and that will never change.

Annoying person, I think that an inconsiderate person has no respect for you, the annoying one might. You could trust the annoying one more than the inconsiderate one.

My choice would be to live with neither, I would rather live alone and find peace within, rather than being stuck with either of the above.
