I LOVED Pippi Longstocking! I used to sing the song all day and wear my hair like hers:)

Yes, I loved Pippi Longstocking as a kid! I watched it all the time! A friend actually put the theme song on my computer. "Freedom calls and Pippi runs - The girl who never heard she couldn't do something - Watch out world 'cause here she comes - And she's bound to teach you more than one thing - Pippi Longstocking is coming into your your town..." I used have my mom put my hair like hers - we used hangers. Thanks for reminding me of her!

I thought I was Pippi for sooooooooooooooo long my mom introduced me to the old movies then newer cartoons began to emerge and even though they held the same spirit they could never compare to the originals ....spent many a day high in a tree pretending to save the town , escape from the bad guys and yes I wore my sock odd and loved my pigtails
