You may be thinking about the concept of psychological time, as opposed to clock time.

The human brain cannot affect clock time in any manner, other than misinterpret it.

However, if we become immersed in a project or activity that gives us great pleasure and satisfaction, time will seem to fly by, even though the clock time elapses normally.

Wrong! We adapt to the environment, the environment does not adapt to us. If it would, we could teach the world to sing in perfect harmony. You can find crazy people in any profession. That doesn't make them right. One in a million comes up with a theory that works. The rest die unpublished.

I think it might be possible.
They seem to KNOW that it is possible.
Therein lies the difference;
If you can know it is possible, without shadow of doubt; then it IS possible.
