So far you have nothing to worry about. It takes around 6-8 months of trying to conceive for even a healthy couple to get pregnant.

Pick up an over the counter fertility monitor and I wish you luck!

I would not worry too much until after the 1st year of trying has passed. I would suggest going in for a pelvic exam, physical and pap so that you know you are healthy. If you smoke, STOP! That can inhibit fertilization. The healthier you are the better chances you have of your body working naturally to get pregnant.

Also go get some ovulation "pee sticks" and start monitoring when you ovulate and how long your cycle runs. (I liked the clear blue easy ones. They were easier to read) This way if you do have to see a fertility specialist you will be ahead of the game when they ask for that information. Otherwise they may have you monitor that stuff for 6 months before suggesting any treatments.

You can ask your Dr. about Colmid as an aid, but warning...you have a higher chance of conceiving multiples if on that.

Remember most of all, not to stress over it. I know that is so hard to do when you want a baby. Hang in there and good luck! :)

There is always a chance that you are intferile but trying for 3 months after only being off the pill for 4 months is not long enough. It can take up to a year for your body to get back to normal after being on the pill. I guess I would suggest trying for 1 year and if nothing happens then go to your doctor and see what he/she has to say. Also, if you need to have something done about the cyst you should do it before becoming pregnant.

The average fertile couple takes 0-12 months to conceive with 6 months being "average". Coming off hormonal birth control the average is about 0-15 months. Some women are fertile immediately after the pill and the pill is sometimes used to help fertility. For some women it takes their body a while to get back in sync after the pill.

take it from me do not worry about it,try not to think about it me and my partner tried for a year before concieving. and it was only when we gave up that we concieved stressing about it can make it take longer esp if u have been on the pill before as that can make it take longer. only if it takes longer than a year to concieve should you consult a doctor. good luck! x
