1. Used it. Occasionally, as with any group operating over 230 years, made mistakes.

2. Appellate courts. Specialty courts (Bankruptcy, etc). Militayr courts. Administrative agencies. Administrative courts. Etc.

3. Judicial review is inherernt in the concept of appeals. That's in the text of Article III of the Constitution.

4. It means the lower decision was correctly decided.

5. You are obviously trying to make some point here. Justices may or may not belong to political parties, but they are not allowed to lobby for political parties.

6. The majority collectively determines who rights the majority opinion. If they cannot decide, the most senior justice in the majority (or the Chief Justice if the Chief Justice is in the majority) gets to write it.

7. For the federal judiciary, lifetime appointments.

8. Any in which the lower court does not have jurisdiction, either personal or subject matter.

9. Read the case decisions yourself.
