What is the proper name for Balck Americans? African Americans, *****, or just plain old Americans?

Americans.
To call them anything else implies that there not as much Americans as Caucasians. In Cuba blacks are referred to as Cubans, but if a physical description is required then we will call them black or one of the names for the various skin tones in the Spanish language.
Cubans in the U.S are Americanized and just go by what everything everyone else does.
