ok so thanks to the helpful people on here i reinstalled the driver for my sound card. But before i deleted it, I remember a multimedia audio controller or something and I dont thave that now. I still have no sound, i'm assuming because I dont have the multimedia controller. So if you know anything please help me out!

Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Information
From the menu select Problem Devices.
Or1. Start/run DxdiagThis program will list all your sound properties. and list what is the problem.
or
2. Start/Control Panel/System/Hardware/Device manager.
look for Yellow entries in sound and repair.
or
Control Panel/ add new Hardware. let windows detect your multimdia audio controller.
or
Volume control Icon in Task bar. Open Properties.
check what is your sound device.

Keep/save a list for future use.
Down load from manufacturer's website any extra drivers you need.

Check your Speakers !!!

Some sound cards are not compatible with the drivers installed on your pc. the drivers sometimes work together with friendly software. or u might have disabled your sound. go to control panel > sound devices (or something). if you disabled a software, you would then have to reinstall that too. there are some drivers/controllers available for free online--just a matter of getting the right one, then.

yo nicely it relies upon in case you appeared intently at each of the writing it has to slot correct it should be stressed out up properly i'd bypass and ask some one at a tech save or promote that card for a similar volume of money and purchase a similar one AND carry on to THE CD

this sounds sort of obvious, but are you sure you are hooking it into the right port? i always have that problem. if you have the same model as me, it is the second to the right of the FireWire port, looking at the back of the computer
otherwise, make sure you do have an audigy, and make sure its pushed in all the way
