Being Irish, my ancestors faced some of the most discrimination among European ethnic groups. Yet, when they finally gained power, they became the biggest persecutors of blacks even though they should have been very sympathetic to blacks since they had previously faced similar discrimination.

Women were treated unequally and were discriminated against. But, that has basically been eradicated. Yet, women like Bab Yaga and Diedre continue to espouse lies and illgoic b/c they believe they now have the right to treat men like crap. Being equal is not enough for them; they refuse to recognize biological differences, and instead blame men for these differences.

They are a perfect example of those who are persecuted usually end up being the worst persecutors.

Wow, who is really spreading the hate here?
You are really naive if you believe that gender bias, sexual harassment and all other gender-based crimes against women have simply gone away.

there is such distinctive definitions of feminism now via social adjustments, its puzzling to truly define your self as feminist or no longer - merely approximately like what's a vegetarian at the instant? we could say - i've got faith in gender equality. i've got faith that girls people and adult males are the two equivalent in strategies and there should not be discrimination against the two merely because of the fact they're of a definite gender. judgements must be made on the advantages of a guy or woman, without stereotypes in contact (eg: women everybody is greater emotional and hence make undesirable judgements). Promotions and pay rises must be desperate upon the artwork and skill of the candidate, no longer upon even if its a all boys or females club. housekeeping should not be divided upon who's the husband or spouse, yet what may be in the main suitable hobbies of the kinfolk and the youngsters? have fun being a woman or a guy and have fun the human race in many circumstances. If this is feminist, sure i'm. If no longer, then no i'm no longer. Take it or bypass away it. we could placed issues this way, we could? i'm a reasonable feminist. i do no longer take issues to the severe and that i do no longer think//prepare in misandry.

"Being a feminist just means wanting to see an end to gender expectations, prejudices and discrimination"

Gender expectations? Like women giving birth for instance? So the human race should die out or should scientists invent a replacement for women? There are gender expectations because thats what nature expects of us it's got nothing to do with society.

"Feminists want to see society rebuilt along more tolerant, egalitarian lines"

What you're actually saying is a society that is non-competitive or specifically were men have their natural urge to compete and dominate resricted so that women can waltz through life with a sense of entitlement without having to do anything.

Sorry feminists communism has failed Marxist theory is a fantasy wake up.

I don't think it is so much treating men like crap as not putting up with there crap. By the way were you not a policeman last night and a clerk the other day? In the military as well? I think the reason that you know crap well is because you make up all kinds of crazy stories about your professional background to get points across. Baba and Diedre just don't put up with all the harassment and you are probably not used to women speaking up for themselves and others. I have not seen them persecute anyone unless that person starts arguing with them first. They have a lot of smarts.

Most feminists don't believe that men are inferior. I am a feminist, and I don't believe men are inferior; nor would I discriminate against them. I have as many men friends as I have women friends. I love men!

Being a feminist just means wanting to see an end to gender expectations, prejudices and discrimination - things that harm men as well as women. Feminists want to see society rebuilt along more tolerant, egalitarian lines. The point is to liberate both sexes.

There's a blog below with lots more information if you're genuinely interested.

I somewhat agree being a women myself... Obviously there is nothing wrong with feminism, I think its great women want to take control.. but when it gets as far as complete discrimination against men, its absurd.

I am all for equality of men and women, although some women are completely insane and want to control men.... men are still pretty much in charge of the world, look at countries in Africa and parts of Asia, even Europe.. women are not equal by any means there, not even in North America... how many women have been the president of the United States? Or Prime Minister of Canada? Zero for the US and one for Canada (even though many barely consider a what? 6 month rein legit) Either way, men and women are not equal....

Men shouldn't have so much control in the world.. at the same time, certain women should not want to control the men... one day we will find an equal balance.

There are many feminists that don't discriminate against men. You can't put all feminists in the same aspect, there are different types of feminism. I'm an individualist feminist who is against affirmative action because it puts women over men which is not right it should be the same. Also, I detest when divorce courts favor the woman over the man only becuase she is a woman. Men's rights is an important philosophy of individualist feminism.

Absolutely right! The worse problem we have is that everyone feels, they're doing it so we do it too. To some extent you can't blame them.

The real shame falls on those who have been through it and still do it, and don't teach better ways.

Most feminists have a chip on their shoulder...something they feel they need to prove.

Maybe our lives and the lives of our children would be better if more women stayed home and raised their children. Just because I'm a stay at home mom, doesn't mean I don't significantly contribute to our home. I feel that is a lot of the problem with kids today. They have no consistency in their lives and no solid foundation in the home on which to base their beliefs and morals.

If you marry a feminist, you marry a woman that wants to tell you (the husband) what to do.
So in other words, feminists want men to be wives, and women to be husbands.
