It's not necessarily a rejection. Tutors have to interview a lot of people in a short space of time. They generally use the same pleasantries for everyone. The uni will be sending out responses in a couple of weeks so that is why they've used this phrase.
No matter how many interviews you've been to it is always a daunting experience. We all doubt whether our performance at interview is good enough- it's human nature to be unsure of ourselves. You probably didn't do as badly as you think. Just think what a pleasant surpriseIt'll be if you do get in!
On the other hand - at least you know what to expect from an interview now, and you can build on your weaknesses and prepare great answers for your next one. Your achievements, grades and experience/ portfolio say as much about your suitability for the course( if not more) as your interview skills.
Even in a worst case scenario, you can still get a really good place at uni through 'clearing' (in UK- I don't know admission systems for US etc.) and people end up at a uni they hadn't considered or known about which suits them better than their original choices.
Good Luck.

Its anyones guess hon - a friend of mine also had an interview for uni last year to do teaching and was given the same response you have mentioned and she didn't get in. Thats not to say you won't - I think its pretty much the standard response they give to everyone. On a positive note almost nobody comes away from an interview with masses of confidence - there will always be things you could have said and didn't. Good luck anyway and hope the outcome is what you wish for xx

1) You probably just smelled novice and didn't put as good a front as others have in interviews.
2) EVERY business has to say "we'll get back to you" because they have a lot of people to interview.
3) Do you have any control? No. At this point it's all finish and what's going to happen is already in motion. Did you send a thank-you letter? At this point, don't worry about it. There's nothing you can do to change it.

People always have impressive things to say after an interview, so don`t let that worry you,
All you can do is wait for the formal offer to come through. Don`t stress, interviewers have a set number of things to say.
Hope you enjoy the course.

Please don't worry about it - i think it's just standard procedure, they have so many people to interview!!
never let other students make you feel inferior, just look at it this way, the more over confident they are.. the harder they fall when they don't get placed.
University will get back to you either way, most probably through UCAS. you will have a letter back with either a "conditional offer"or an "unsuccessful"..
if worst comes to worst and you get a letter through saying unsuccessful, don't worry about it, the day that your exam results come through you can call up the university and see if they have any spaces on that course through clearing...not everyone who gets a conditional offer gets their place... it's dependant on thier grades.
i'm in university now, and i promise you every one of the 6 universities i applied to got back to me. Also, if you applied through UCAS, keep checking back on UCAS TRACK (the website) your offer (be it unsuccessful or conditional) will be posted on your account before you get your letter through
best of luck with your future studies, i'm sure you'll do great!!
take care

It doesn't suggest that you did'nt get a place. My sister had lots of interviews all with a similar response but they did get back to her. And one with an offer, just wait and see.

in the starting up, i'm satisfied you've come for your senses and stopped calling her names. yet shame on you for contributing to the priority in the first position. At 7 years old, being overweight isn't her fault. Your dad and mom ought to start up making fit foodstuff options for her. they could start up by ability of in undemanding words bringing fit foodstuff into the homestead. That way she may in undemanding words have healthful foodstuff to pick on from. in case your dad and mom are not attentive to how severe this problem is getting then you definately favor to lead them to conscious earlier some thing undesirable occurs. i'd hate to imagine of your sister ending up with an eating ailment earlier the age of 10. Judging by ability of your sister's nickname for you, i am going to assume that you do not have a weight problem. Take it from someone who does, human beings (particularly young ones) can make you damage in procedures you not in any respect imagined by ability of creating exciting of your weight. Spend as a lot time helping your sister as you may. make certain your dad and mom get entangled too

I think you're getting nervous and thinking the worst, which is natural. You can only wait and see now. Try to think positive. Good luck
