I know a couple of folks that ran for Canada during the Vietnam conflict. Myself and other Vietnam Vets went through hel*, got shot up and came up with the creepin crud so they could come back and end up as famous entertainers, CEO's and financial managers. The guy that laid me off was a draft dodger. Seems the Liberals take care of their own.

The war protestors whom I know personally are 2 doctors, 2 lawyers, 1 nurse, 1 business owner, 1 corporate VP, 1 IT specialist and 1 chef. I don’t know if they qualify as “chronic” but they are very active war protestors.

seems strange to me why you condemn people with a view contrary to yours when you speak about fighting for freedom of speech, expression etc. I'm not a professor. and i did support the war. i just don't understand why in a so called Free west as we say you condemn others for having a different point of view. people like that usually get jobs like dictator

If you search on line you can find places to rent protesters. Also, labor unions are notorious for requiring their members to participate. I know I was in a labor union for years. Then there are the homeless who can be persuaded to carry a sign for a few packs of cigarettes or a couple of bucks. Then there are college kids skipping classes or even getting college credit for attending.
The liberals have a very impressive network, too. They attend each others rallies all the time.
Pro-abortion groups will attend , anti-war rallies. Anti-war groups will attend environmental rallies. Environmentalists will attend pro illegal immigration rallies etc. You will often see the same people at many different rallies.

Good for you Che'Ghan...nearly everyone works. Besides its Saturday. and for the questioner. You seem to have enough time to come here and express your opinions. Same difference except you're sitting in a nice warm house drinking coffee. Leave the protesters alone. They have every right to do as they please as long as they obtained the proper licensing and are not hurting anyone. Personally I think it's great.
If you don't like it, why not sponsor a "for the war" protest?
and for Gary: "carrying a sign takes little brain power". How true. Like families awaiting their military loved ones as they return from that hellhole called Iraq?? Are you saying they have "little brain power" also?
Oh. How encouraging!
And as for the "growing Welfare state"? Talk to Halliburton.

Like any other hobby, as long as you spend the required amount of time doing your job, it doesn't matter if all of your free time goes to playing pool, planting a garden, or speaking out on political matters...
Oh. You are trying to imply that someone who doesn't like the current political decisions wouldn't be qualified to have a job.
Got it.
