I don't think that they should trade him, but perhaps they should see if they can get a Kicker in the Draft, so then they either put some pressure on Tynes or maybe even replace the guy.

But, the Chiefs also have seriously bigger problems than Tynes, so...

In the NFL, you will rarely see a kicker traded. When one is actually traded, its one of the top kickers in the league. Kickers are seen as disposable, and Tynes definitely fits the mold. They would not even get a 7th rounder for him.

If they want to get rid of him, the only realistic option is to release him.

You don't really trade kickers. They could release him, I'm sure they'll bring someone in to training camp to challenge him for his job. If they don't I'll be pissed, cuz an NFL kicker should not be shanking 22 yard field goals off the post.
