Haha! First time I've really heard 80s/90s music referred to as "old time" but I guess that's accurate to some degree. Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2) by Pink Floyd was a biggie to me, Watching Wheels by John Lennon; Money for Nothing by Dire Straits; Woke Up With a Monster by Cheap Trick; Enter Sandman by Metallica. Those are just off the top of my head. Oh yeah, Mexican Radio by Wall of Voodoo, and Whip It! by Devo - those kind of songs set the tone for 80's music, as did "I'm Too Sexy" by Right Said Fred.

Right now it's "99 Red Balloons" by Nena. There are many others but this one sticks out best because of the tune, how fast it goes and the fact that it doesn't make much sense. The lyrics are left up to your own interpretation. Her cool accent doesn't hurt either.

My favorite 80's song is "One Night in Bangkok" by Murray Head, It is the epitome of 80's music :)

I was a huge Salt N Pepa fan....as a matter of fact I still have a few of their cds and get them out from time to time. I have now gotten my 15 yr old sister into them...haha!
