you could go to a craft store and get a styrofoam ball and cut like a quarter of it, leaving an inside ball for the nucleus. Then you can color it pink/peach for the cytoplasm, just make little dots for ribosomes.. stick some pipe cleaners in for some endoplasmic reticulum...... don't forget the golgi apparatus!

be totally unique and make a cake.
so liek the cake would be the cell, use licorice for cell membrane
nucleus and nucleolus get a big gumball and a small gumball then put the 2 together. (also the nuclear membrane is kinda like the shell)
vacuole- those flat fruit roleup thingys
ribosomes- m&ms or skittles
endoplasmic reticulum- smooth- thin licorice and rough- laffy tafty
mitochondria- circus peanuts
cytoplasm- frosting

thats wut i did for my 9th grade biology project and i got like 20 extra credit for creavitity.

you could get a large foam ball from a craft store to represent the cell. put foil or something that can cover the top as the cell wall. clay for some organelled, black seeds for the ribosomes, and big lima beans for some other thing. i did this in 7th grade but i don't remember exactly what we used. look at the pictures in your book.

Make a collage or something. Maybe use paper mache or just buy a model from a science store.

hahaha. I made a cake, and used pull and peel licorice for the endoplasmic reticulum, and jelly beans for the mitochondia. I used different color icings for membranes. I dunno if you can use food. just have fun with it. : )
