I don't believe there are any set reasons for why we get pinched. However, here are some theories:

1.You get pinched because you're a nonconformist.
2. Pinching gives you a bruise so you can have some green on you.

Guess I'll be getting pinched since I have no cute green clothes. Have a good one!

I frequently do not placed on eco-friendly on St Patrick's Day, even if it has no longer something to do with luring in a gang of leprechauns. i'm frequently at artwork and that i opt to be a damp blanket even as it includes feeble or classic tries at place of work thrilling. If I ensue to experience festive, then i'd wreck down and placed on something eco-friendly, even if it should be olive or moss eco-friendly. the front to my place of work progression has eco-friendly carpet that looks suspiciously like Kermit the Frog's pelt. i think that replaced into put in as some form of a caution. i'd be more advantageous in all probability to flow all out for St. Patrick's Day if it were themed round guacamole somewhat of shamrocks. yet i doesn't opt to attempt a guacamole shake at McDonald's.

I have no clue, but if I get pinched, I think I will slap them, tell them that from where I come from, we always slap when we are pinched. Its a tradition, and if likes the tradition just pinch me again, I will be happy to slap the crap out of them.

Wearing green is strictly a U.S. custom, as the color green is not popular in Ireland. Green is connected to the old green flag and a time when Ireland was not free. Green is also a color connected with hope and nature.

Some naughty leprechaun wanted to pinch the ladies' rear ends and started this custom to legitimize his actions. Now people take advantage of this for their own personal reasons.

Whoa!!!! Just kidding. Then again, it could be true. Stranger things have happened. . .
