please help... i have rebuilt alot of computers but today` i spent 9 hours trying to get the audio working and still cannot.. been through device manager... no conflicts ie all drivers and hardware working but still no sound. any experts out there who can help i would love to talk to you via either jajah...skype...yahoo messenger... or email... in that order of preference.... many thanks Russell

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.

install your motherboards chipset drivers,thes normally have your audio drivers on unless your using a specific sound card then as you know you will use the sound cards drivers
also its a good idea just to check the sounds and multimedia option in control panel and then the audio tab and use the drop down box to make sure the correct audio device is enabled
if the onboard audio is still not working you need to send the motherboard back for a replacement

is it onboard audio, if so i had same problem on my friends aboot six month ago and i still haven't found reson for it

me just put pci sound card in n desabled onboard audio n work fine

if i find a reson for it i will post here 4 you
