Congrats on your new pregnancy!
Call your OB and tell her you are pregnant. They all run on different schedules but she will want to get you in for blood draws, a pap smear and some doctors do mammograms as well (because the boost in estrogen during pregnancy can cause cysts to grow at a faster rate).
I'd call on Monday and let them know and they'll schedule for an appointment soon.

Its never to early to start. I had my first doctors appointment at 5 weeks, then i got to go back for my first ultra sound at 10 weeks, i would suggest getting almost every blood test they offer it is a really good idea to make sure your pregnancy will go smoothly

ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!
You need your vitamins and blood sugar tested and your blood pressure checked.
Most of the babies development is in the first trimester.
At the end of the pregnancy, just about everything is already formed, and just needs to grow and gain weight.
So much happens in the beginning. I think that is the most crucial stage of pregnancy.
Buy a good book on pregnancy also.(with in utero pictures).
It is so interesting to know what is going on.

Most Drs. want to see you around 6-8 weeks for a checkup (pap, blood work etc)..So you can make your appt. now! Good Luck!
