Tell me about it! I work in a petrol station and some people end up putting in about £30 instead of £10 because they keep going over! Also something I've noticed is that men shake the pump when they've finished as though they've just been for a wee!!!

I always top up with £20 petrol if I stop it on the dead £20 I treat it as a medal award as I uasually go over by 1 p all of the time

Definitely, I have to round up to the nearest pound and I hate odd numbers so I always spend more than I need to if I'm in a particularly dippy mood.

well, i just buy it by the tankful... why put 10 quid in if youre going to be back in a few days... i havent bought gallons of fuel for years... or litres.. its only ever 10 20 30 40... depends wher im going, and how much cash ive got...

Only when I'm skint. When I'm flush I go mad and purchase amounts of petrol ending in 9p.
