If you feel you may be Transgendered, then find yourself a therapist experienced in treating gender dysphoria. I do get quite a chuckle out of reading some of the answers from people that have no idea what they are talking about. Many transgendered people never have the surgery.

If you are a man and have the urge to wear nice lacy panties, and nylons garter belts and high heels. then you are probably transgendered. Transgendered is not the situation where you have your body surgically altered to become the opposite gender, that is transexualism. Transgender is the umbrella term for all that have some sort of gender identity issues.

Someone is transgendered if their gender identity doesn't exactly match their physical sex.

i knew when i couldnt face life as the gender i was assigned as birth any longer
the only solution for my discomfort was a sex change
it was the best thing i ever did for myself

???? do you know what this word means??? I didn't think so...it means that you were born one sex and medically, surgically changed to the other..I think you would know if that had happened.
