thousands of dead, wounded and traumatized g.i.s. tens of thousands of dead, wounded and traumatized iraqi civilians. thousands of dead, wounded and traumatized lebonese and palistinians. the largest trade imbalance and deficit in history ( after having inherited a budget surplus from clinton ) which would have saved social security. an unprotected border which allows continued illegal immigration. appalling foreign relations with europe, russia, central and south america, the whole of the middle east and choas in africa. a tax break for the wealthiest. a populace ininsured, less educated and divided. the erosion of womens rights, and civil liberties, with some born again bureaucrat listening to your phone calls and trying to get in your bedroom. in short, an america that is less safe and has become the laughing stock of the world, and the enemy to many. a legacy of unrivaled corruption, and all because he didn't mind stealing the election, believing that some imagined deity wanted him to be president. not to mention a dependence on foreign oil and a more poluted planet. bush is pig-ignorant and cheney is evil. personally, i loathe the pair of them. let's hope they both die soon so we won't have to put up with another couple of years of their obscene madness.
the only good thing he accomplished was to ensure that conservative republicans will get their behinds kicked in the next election.

These are just some general points of what he might leave behind:
-Instability in Iraq/ Possible Civil War between the Shia, the Sunnis, and the Kurds*
-Strained relations with the International Community in particular leaders of Canada, Russia, South America, and Europe*
-Failure to catch Ayman al-Zawahiri and Osama bin Laden/ Raising threat from Taliban insurgents in Afghanistan*
-Possible instability in Cuba if Castro dies*
-New threats from Venezuela and Iran
-No Child Left Behind could be a success or failure
-A mess left in New Orleans due to Katrina that could have been approached differently
-A conservative Supreme Court with the appointment of a new justice and a chief justice
-Continued massacres in Darfur in the Sudan
-New immigration policies that aren't guarenteed to be effective*
-Possible nuclear agreement with the North Koreans about 6 months after they detonated an atomic bomb*
-class separation between the upper and middle and lower classes as big business has benefited from Bush
-The aftertaste of a country unable to trust its government after a scandal plagued administration
This is a good glance at where we will be at the 2008 elections. A lot of things can change therefore I put asterisks around the ones that could, but more than likely won't change.

A "total" mess and utter chaos. Seeing that Bush was elected, not once but twice, into an office he had no business getting into, the problems are going to take years and years to resolve for the next incoming president, whoever that might be. For all our sakes, let's hope it's someone who can actually handle the task at hand, whether they are a democrat or a republican, although I'm hoping for democrat.
Under the presidency of Clinton, this country saw more economic, environmental, fiscal, etc., gains than under any other president in recent history. The legacy that Bush leaves will be dubious, at best.

nicely, considering that they're already attempting to "up the ante" for instructor criteria from fantastically qualified to fantastically qualified and sensible and many of the legislators imagine that's tremendous because now they do no longer ought to imagine about it, yeah, i imagine that's going to stay round. possibly worsen, if that's plausible. in spite of the undeniable fact that the finished issue is ridiculous, what i'd want to work out is a call for that mandates including NCLB won't be able to be enforced until eventually they're funded. that could want to quit the stupid options the legislators arise with.

just what he was appointed there to do. **** **** up. now hillary will carry the torch and probably run us into the ground, and then when we have nothing else left, the new wolrd order will come and "save us." then world government, the end of freedom, privacy, and democracy.
tom4bucs, are you serious? you need to get off the limbaugh. he is brainwashing you. he is delusional from years of taking piles of oxycontin. you are completely brainwashed.
stop supporting president d!pshit
his legacy will be not preventing the terrorist attack that killed 3000 people & the firefighters that he wouldn't treat for toxic dust inhalation. ---and thats at least...if he didn't MAKE it happen. And then there is that little illegal war thing too.
i will give him credit for being the first retarded person to be elected president.......so....at least he accomplished that.

We'll still be in Iraq, the death toll prolly pushing 4-5 thousand at least by this time.
The government will start pushing legislation that chips away at our constitutional rights.
The economy will hit major recession as soon as he leaves office, because when he leaves, we'll start paying off our debt.

gum under the desk of the Oval office. some over ripe bananas. A bag of pretzels. Big picture books with no words. A twelve pack of ADOLPH Coors. A big NASCAR foam finger. A half eaten bag of bbq pork rinds and his autographed copy of the HOOTERS GIRLS 2006 calendar.
other than that, he won't leave behind anything other than the most divided nation in our history and a legacy of debt for our children
