For example, I am a martial artist. I have used the things I have learned to defend myself several times and I know it works. But why do I still sometimes have these feelings of doubt that my techniques don't really work and the successes were a fluke? They come and go, sometimes they are strong, sometimes they are weak.

Also. I know I am a very handsome man. I have very attractive girls checking me out, hitting on me, I get dates with strippers and other attractive girls with just my looks and personality, girls chase ME, yet sometimes I still have these thoughts "why is she with me she could have anyone" "what if I mess things up with her" going through my mind. Again, sometimes these thoughts are stronger than others and they come and go. On a logical level, I know they are unreasonable, but why do I still have them? How do I get rid of them?

Can these doubts affect my "game"? How so?

My psych assessment said I have very high selfconfidence and very high self esteem.

That is not the problem. My borther is a doctor and told me not to worry about it, doubt and insecurity is something everyone has about almost everything. It is a normal part of life.

Self-confidence will come through repeatedly demonstrating to yourself that you are worthy of it. (Or will it???! Yes, actually it will.)
