I have dark brown/black hair and i want it bright vibrant red!! how?

should I go to a stylist or do it myself. I also want really light red highlites put in.
I want it like Hayley Williams of the band Paramore.

The natural hair color of mine is same as yours..Red is also a very tricky color. The best thing to do is to get it professionally done with a stylist. Red highlights with a darker base red hair color gives wonderful effect and adds warmth to your face too. I have never liked any other color more after i made my hair Red, but its always got to be professionally done.

Just a warning..Red color washes out quicker as it is not like other colors..there are no bleaches used..you may also see red color in the shower while washing your hair which means that retouch is frequently required

I don't know how the guy looks from that band, but if you look in a store like rite aid or cvs, there's a thing that has really bright red and fuschia highlights, it's by l'oreal. Another thing that worked for me was a temporary colored mousse also from l'oreal called colorpulse. They have a lot of really bright reds that should do the trick for you, it washes out after 8-10 shampoos.

Yes you should definately go to the salon to do this. I have black hair and I got red highlights put in it before. The first time I got them done, you couldn't even tell but then they had to bleach my hair so it would color to a lighter color. You don't want to try this on your own.

Don't do it yourself!!!! If you have dark hair you will need to bleach it first which can get kind of messy.
