I have a iPod Shuffle (2nd generation) that I've owned for 6 months or so. I love it, however I'm consistering spending my b-day money on a green iPod Nano. I could probably convince my parents to pay for half of it, so it would only cost me $100 which I have. So what to do you think? Should I stick with the shuffle or get the Nano?

Once you upgrade to a better model of Ipod, you are going to love it. I had a Mini forever, and I finally got an Ipod Photo. Love it to death. The major difference is with the Nano, you will be able to pick and choose what songs you want to listen to, make playlists depending on mood or style, and it hold a heck of a lot more songs.
For the bad: The shuffle is designed so that you can take it to the gym, run or jog with it, its really portable. The nanos and everything above it, have hard drives in them, which are not meant to be jostled or shaken. So if you mainly use your shuffle for activities, then you might want to re think getting a nano. I hope that helps.

Shuffle iPods are generally cheaper than Nano iPods, but Shuffles can actually damage your hearing, especially if you are continuously listening to it. If you are willing to put your hearing at risk but keep your money in your wallet, then maybe sticking with the Shuffle is not so bad.
However, iPod Nanos are safer for your hearing and you can see and choose the songs being played. Though I am no expert in the field of iPods, you could probably ask a store expert and they would be able to inform you more about the pros and cons of having an iPod Nano vs. an iPod Shuffle.

Nano is better because you can listen to the songs you want to hear on that moment. Unlike the shuffle.

If it were me.. I'd get the nano. With the shuffle you can't choose what song you want to listen to.. but with the nano, if you really want to listen to a certain song.. you can!!!
