terrorism is a tactic used by deranged desperate people. there is no military win against a tactic and ideology of hate.every time the president says we will win the war on terror it reveals a ignorance and arrogance that makes me shake my head in disbelief. why would any thinking person agree with bush's ideas and plans for america. even if i were a conservative republican i would not support this administration. only reasonable thoughtful answers as to why you think this war on iraq and terror (however you define that) is the prudent course of action to risk lives on. 2 of the worst arguments that i hope not to hear are "we had to something after 9/11 and were fighting them ther so we won't fight them here. any good ideas i'm missing

We are over there attempting to "rebuild" Iraq into a nation where its people are not taught to hate America from the moment they are born. The "war on terror" is fought as an effort to change the way the Iraqi people feel towards Americans. I hear so often people talking about how badly the Iraqis want us out of there and that's simply NOT true. Of course, THE BAD GUYS want us out...duh! But the innocent people want a chance to live a life that doesn't begin training you to fight from the time you're old enough to pick up a gun. The people over there have been terrorized. I do believe our goal is a little optimistic maybe, but I am hopeful that we can achieve peace in Iran someday and at least for now, prove that Americans aren't so terrible. Our soldiers are over there dying not just for our own people, but for theirs as well.

If you believe that not fighting them here is not a good reason then you don't even deserve to live here. What you are telling me is that we should gladly accept thousands of deaths on our home soil just so we don't have to be in Iraq. That makes absolutely no sense and if you ask our troops on the ground they would agree with me. Our soldiers aren't as cowardly as the people who sit safely at home claiming to be concerned for the troops welfare.

the terrorists ought to note the words of one of our worst enemies,,,,heres what he said,,,,, (sic) I believe with this powerful and effective attack we have angered a just people ,,,,,,,have studied in the us,,,,,,,came to know its people,,,,,,we will pay dearly for this ,,,,,the speaker was admiral yamamoto after attack at pearl harbor on finding out that the formal declaration was delivered one hour after the attack instead of before the attack to cordell hull.yamamoto spoke against the idea of war against the us in council with the warlords but was overrided and planned and prosecuted the attack as ordered.a classical military victory against these terrorists guys aint in the cards,,,,,,its asymetrical warfare so whaddya do about stopping another one,,,,,,,911 killed 2800 folks,20 bil lawsuits,20 bill damages, threw airlines into bankruptcy ,the us economy into recession,,,,,,,,another attack that kills say 50 k people,100 bil in damages, lawsuits, bankruptcy throws 25 or 30 million people onto the job market right away.......gwb blew a really important call, thinking iraq had wnd,,,,so far, seems he was wrong ,,,,,,iraq needs the kurds, shia, and sunnis to agree to a confederation power sharing arrangement,a system that is not going to foment attacks against us or their neighbours.if we bolt, them fellas are gonna follow us home.given that dubai ports would like to help us watch our own ports, the chinese owning the panama canal, our border lika a collander, another attack could cause the us to go the route of a 2 or three state confederation,,,,,yeeejaaah,,,,,what should we do next?,,,,,,,,,something that were not doing now ,whaddizit?

The President made a lot of mistakes including letting Mexico take over the USA. The war had no exit policy, he should have been like Clinton was, Selective kills up to heads of state. But all told when it comes home stand in front of me while I fire back.
