You can't. You'll have to break the two you have and be happy with them, or offer to sell them so that you can buy the other mare, since she's in foal.

Why dont you back the ones you have? Or get them backed? If you by this mare in foal, your going to end up with a foal as well as another horse and it will be atleast 6 months before you can ride her again. The other thing you could do is sell the 2 you have and use the money to buy something already riding. I dont mean to put a downer on things for you, but from a realistic point of view, I do understand why your parents wont. There expensive pets! I know I have 6!! (But 5 of them are for work)

If you plan to ride these two horses that aren't broke yet, then you need all the time you have to dedicate to breaking them in! You can't just buy green horses and do nothing with them just because they are green! It sounds to me like you don't have the time of day for a new horse and if you do have a lot of extra time you need to start putting it towards those two horses! Did your parents buy you the last two horses because you really wanted them? Well now you don't even ride then and you want a new one!? I can see where your parents are coming from, you do not deserve a new horse... You should either start doing something with your two green horses, or sell them to someone that will-- honestly, you are wasting your horses time. Maybe once you sell your two green horses that you are too lazy to break, your parents will let you get the one you want and hopefully you will actually ride it!

Im not trying to be mean, but sometimes the truth is a little harsh and i think you needed to hear it that way to get it through your head.. GOOD LUCK though and if you need anything you can contact my Equine Help Hotline by adding Equine Help 101 to your buddy list.

well horses are a big responsibility but i understand that you want a horse you can ride. i would fell the same way. right now one of my horses are being trained and she is very expensive because she is young and the first few years are the hardest. the first few years you have to pay medical, dental, farrier, boarder, trainer, and many more stuff. so i can see why your parents are saying no. i say get a good paying job, help out with the other horses( like cleaning stalls, feeding, making sure they are all right, etc....) and helping your parents around the house. if you do this it shows your parents you are responsible and willing to work for a horse. talk to your parents about how you fell and the benefits of you having a horse and maybe you will come to an agreement

hope this helps. good luck

Just explain that you would like a horse that is at your riding level.....but I wouldn't get a mare in foal....
not only will she not be able to be ridden for a while (during which she may "forget" some of her manners) but you will also end up with another horse (the foal) that you will not be able to ride.
look carefully for a horse....and get one that you are posituive you are going to be confidant handeling.

Why would you get another 2 horses, if your other two aren't finished yet. Besides if you can't afford the horse, what makes you think you can afford the vet bill if birthing goes wrong?

Treasure the two you have, get them 100% perfect (gorgeous coats, condition their manes, break them to ride, teach them tricks), then sell them for good money, and buy your perfect, dream horse!

Well Ithink you should explain to them that you dont have anything to ride. But after the mare has her foal what are you going to ride.Youll be in the same possition that you are in now.

What do you mean how to get money?....It's called a job the main concept is you do something for someone who thinks they are more important than you and get paid for your services.
