I have 4 beautiful children:
Christopher-15
and Lillianna-15[twins]
Sahara-14
and
Destiny-2

They all have different acsents. Because I was born and raised in puerto rico until I was 18. My husband was born and raised in Harlem, NY until he was 25. See, when I moved here I moved to NY I had a spanish acsent[and i still do] then, i went to college and met my husband, I moved to Harlem with him. and we got married and had Christopher, and Lillianna. Lillianna was born with a spanish acsent and she still has it. Christopher was born with a city acsent and he still has it. Then we had our daughter Sahara, she was born with a spanish and a city acsent. Now, its just a city acsent. Then when Sahara was 11 we moved to Hartford, Conneticut. Then we had our daughter Destiny, she is born with no acsent at all. not city/ not spanish.

my question is people keep asking me, if all my kids are related[biologically] because none of them sound alike. Is this a real problem? or no?

No. Most people realize that children pick up their accents from their peers--after they start school. Their accents usually go along with the accents in the place where they live. Destiny will probably have no accent up in Connecticut - as people who live there don't have a distinct accent (unless they brought it with them from elsewhere).

I was born in Harlem, but my family moved up to the Bronx when I was only a couple of weeks old. Four of my children were born in NY, and the youngest two were born in Vegas. None of the children have New York accents any longer, though I still do. I lived the majority of my life in NY, though, and them, only a short time.

Tell these people very diplomatically, "Yes, the children are mine and my husband's. Excuse me, I must be going." then leave, (or place your attention elsewhere, if you cannot leave). The people who ask these questions are the problem- not you and your children.

No its only a problem that people question you on if all your children are related.
