No.
A more accurate description would be 'Five years of Hell'.
And I never stop being grateful that I will never ever in my entire life have to set foot in that place again.

Well, I'm fourteen, and I'd say that I will really miss being at school. I'm not a geek, It's just such an awesome age! I don't want to grow up. If your still at school, make as many friends you can and dont wish your time away. It's too precious. I mean; yeah, I never do my homework and I'm always in trouble for it, but it's funny. Just look for the best part of everything, I know some things dont have any, but you can't let it get to you. I love going to school to see my friends. And I always go into town afterwards to see my friends out side of school too. It's Ace and I never want it to end!

Fortunately I never believed that, or I'd have committed suicide to save the future horror.
School was a nightmare of alienation, taunting and bullying. The lessons alone provided some relief.
My late twenties provided the best days, so far.
(I thought I knew what was going on. I was wrong, but the illusion was comforting for a while.)

Hell no, all school did was waste my day. I learned more staying at home watching television(Phil Donahue, 3-2-1 Contact, Electric Company, Mister Roger's, Another World, and other great shows that I missed due to going to school.) The only thing I miss about my school years was that I actually lived in the lap of responsiblity less luxury.

YES i loved school.
Not the work because I was very average but I loved:-
talking in class,
fancying boys,
going to school disco's,
lunchtime,
sitting at the back of the bus,
skiving off PE (but not getting caught and getting detention the one and only time I did)
The fact that when you came home your mum got the tea, paid the bills and it wasn't your responsibility to lock the front door at night.
Basically I loved that carefree and exciting time of adolencence.Compared with the responsibilities of the rest of your life it's bliss so enjoy while you can.
OK i do realise that not every kid is as lucky as I was!!

No...sadly, I had a screwed up childhood filled with unpleasant days, even at school. The best days of my life came as an adult once I broke free from what I came from and became a healthy happy person.

If I could go back in time, I would go back to when I was starting tenth grade. As I look back, they were definitely the best. I was able to drive, so I had freedom, a part time job was all I needed, as I had no expenses other than gas and dates. I was a pre-adult, in my own care free world.

Fcuk no! Unless you count law school, bc I met my best friend there and I realised that we all emerged with the same degree, whether we graduated at the head of the class or last in the class, so we goofed off and had fun, and both miraculously graduated despite it all.

Hell no! Worrying about the boy you have a crush on, trying to work part time and get decent grades, parents breathing down my neck, college applications, girls and their back stabbing... I'll take being in my late 30's any day!

At that point in time, those days were the best. But, as one gets older, each point in time is the best.
I don't know why people say those were the best years...why stop there????
To say that is so limiting.
